Heart Shaped Cinnamon Roll Ingredients
- 1 (8 ct.) can of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls (the regular, NOT the grands version)
- Valentine’s Day Sprinkles
Directions:
Step 1: Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Add parchment paper to a cookie sheet or baking sheet and set aside.
Step 2: Take a cinnamon rolls from the can and unroll them onto a cutting board. Each cinnamon roll should be rolled out into a long strip of dough. Make sure to hang onto the icing, we’ll need that later.
Step 3: Take a cinnamon roll, and begin rolling the edges in towards the center. Once both edges are rolled to the center, pink the bottom of the cinnamon roll to make a point. The pinch point makes the bottom of the heart. Make sure to pinch it together well so it holds during baking. Repeat this for all of the rolls.
Step 4: Place the cinnamon rolls onto the parchment paper covered pan.
Step 5: Bake for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown. This is less than the package time but its okay because they are rolled a bit different.
Step 6: Once they’ve finished baking, move to a cooling rack, and let cool slightly before frosting.
Step 7: Add the frosting to your cinnamon rolls and sprinkle with Valentine sprinkles!
