Shark Rice Krispie Treats
These Shark Rice Krispie Treats are so much fun! We made the classic rice krispy treats recipe and dipped them in blue candy, then topped with gummy sharks and blue sprinkles for a treat that is perfect for a beach or ocean themed party, pool parties, a shark birthday party, or for celebrating SHARK WEEK on Discovery Channel!

- It is such a fun twist on traditional rice crispy treats! We love dipping them and adding sprinkles and other toppings, and these are just perfect as shark themed treats.
- We just love rice krispie treats, to be honest. I could make them in just about any theme and enjoy them all year long. They get even more festive when you can dip them into any color of candy melts and top with a variety of sprinkles, candy, and more!
Shark Rice Krispie Treats Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp. Butter
- 5 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups rice krispies cereal
- 12 oz. blue candy melts
- 15 Shark gummies
- 1 tbsp. White sprinkles
- 15 popsicle sticks, optional
Directions:
Step 1: In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
Step 2: Stir in marshmallows, and heat until melted, stirring frequently.
Step 3: Once melted, remove from the heat and stir in rice krispies, stirring well to coat all of the cereal in the marshmallow mixture.
Step 4: Spray a 9×13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 5: Pour the rice krispie mixture into the pan, and press down evenly.
Step 6: Allow the rice krispies about an hour to set.
Step 7: Remove from the pan and place the large rice krispie mixture onto a cutting board.
Step 8: Then, cut into 15 rectangles. Add a popsicle stick to each treat. Place the treats onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Step 9: In a microwave safe bowl, melt candy melts by microwaving on 30 second increments and stirring well in between.
Step 10: Dip one end of the treats into the candy melts, and place onto the parchment paper.
Step 11: Add a shark gummy and a few white sprinkles. Repeat for each treat, and let the treats set for about an hour so the candy can set. Enjoy!
Store any leftovers in an airtight container. No need to refrigerate.
