To store any leftovers, keep in an airtight container. It may help to keep the bark refrigerated so it doesn’t get too warm and melt. This is such a fun treat for your Halloween party, or a great way to use up some leftover candy.

Some other fun toppings you could use-

  • Reese’s pieces
  • Kit Kats, Snickers bars and other candy bars
  • Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • Regular ghouls mix M&Ms

Halloween Bark FAQs

Do I have to use almond bark? Can I use chocolate chips or another type of chocolate?

Yes! We just love how easy almond bark is to melt and use, but by all means you can use regular chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, even orange candy melts would be so cute. I recommend the double boiler method for melting these, though, as they are easy to burn in the microwave.
